Opportunity – Designing a new program focused on healthy relationships and consent for Yrs 9 and 10.

Dear PDHPETA Members

The Matilda Centre for Research on Mental Health and Substance Use at the University of Sydney (the team behind the successful “Our Futures Vaping” program) are in the process of designing a new program focused on healthy relationships and consent for Yrs 9 and 10. Drs Siobhan O’Dean and Amy-Leigh Rowe are leading the development of the program.

Part of this process involves speaking directly to young people and teachers to see what they would like in this kind of program. We are on the lookout for secondary schools to be part of these focus groups.
